Beadlebugs are handcrafted beaded bugs built with our original designs and techniques. They are a combination of art, craft, and science.

We offer a colorful variety of miniature arthropod sculptures including

  • arachnids - spider, scorpion
  • insects - dragonfly, ant, wasp, mantis
  • centipedes

They range in size from about 4cm to 15cm (1.5 to 6 inches) or more in length.

We hope you enjoy our catalog of beaded creatures. Thanks for visiting!

Our beaded bugs are made of glass and hematite beads and strong non-tarnishing wire. We sometimes use other materials such as gemstone, wood, and porcelain. There are no plastic or acrylic beads in our bugs, and there is no glue, only beads and wire.

Each beadlebug has a loop at the head and tail for hanging... as a suncatcher, halloween decoration, xmas tree ornament, or small spider necklace. They also cling nicely to fabric.

Custom orders are welcome! To request a special bug please use this order form. For example, perhaps you like the color and style of a certain spider but would like to see it as a dragonfly. Let us know and we'll create the new bug and add it to our catalog.
